Quite a few candle supply companies have listed new waxes since  late last year and this is just a short summary of what is currently available or arriving soon.

All Season Wax Companies’ S16 Deluxe Soy is along with the S100 one of our most highly sought after  new waxes! A completely natural soy product – The S16 Deluxe Soy is 100% Soy Bean carefully blended with a unique plant based emulsifier.

I found with these new waxes that keeping your wax cooler ( don’t overheat) that you will get a great finish to your candles.
You can expect beautiful creamy candles pre and post burn, great container adhesion and a strong scent throw. I’ve used up to 10% fragrance load with this wax

You’ll find great container adhesion, a wax that’s easy to work with and fantastic scent throw!

I am working my way through quite a few waxes and deciding for myself and my students the best candle making methods. I prefer to keep my waxes as cool as possible, add the fragrance at a lower temperature and pour at a lower temperature. For me, this works well.

If you are new to candle making I would suggest you try a few different waxes and work out what is best for you.
